The artist

Maarten Vromans (1975, Rucphen) fotografeert zowel de stad als het landschap. Zo onderzoekt hij de invloed die elementen als mens, natuur en weer hebben op stedelijke bebouwing van (voornamelijk) Rotterdam. Op dit moment ontdekt hij met zijn project ‘Lucky Shots’ of hij als fotograaf mooie beelden kan maken als hij alles aan het toeval overlaat.

​Maarten Vromans (1975, Rucphen) roams through cities and landscapes. With his photography he explores the impact that people, nature and weather have on urban development. With his series ‘Lucky Shots’ he currently investigates if it is possible to produce strong images by just leaving everything to chance.
